Toto Sukiyagashi, “Riverbank at Sukiya in Edo,” from the set Fugaku sanjurokkei, “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.” Shows the snowy banks of the moat around Edo Castle (now the Imperial Palace) with Mount Fuji in the distance. Published by Tsutaya Kichizo (Koeido), 1858.
Very fine early impression. Fine colour. Minimal soil bottom right margin. Large margins. Fine condition. Signed Hiroshige ga.
